Terms and Conditions
1. We Pope Computer Services will NOT be held responsible for any data loss during the repair/upgrade. If you notify us in advance we will do our best to preserve some or all of you data. We will not how ever be held responsible for any lost of data.
2. All upgrades/ repairs and any other items must be collect and paid within 14 days from the date at the top off this notice. After this time we reserve the right to sell /dispose of the item/s regardless of where ever repaired or not.
3. Warranty on upgrades is 12 months from invoice date. This only applies to the items upgraded. Item reused from your computer are excluded from the warranty period.
4. Warranty on upgrades is 30 days from invoice date. Any new items carry a 90 day return warranty.
5. The warranty shall be come void on any items that have been subject to damaged or where the customer has attempted modification. The warranty shall also be void if the repair or installed item is damaged be corrosion/liquid spillage/power surge/lighting strike/leaking batteries or any deliberate or accidental abuse.
6. Software on PCs / Laptops is not covered by warranty as corruption / deletion can be caused by a virus and other users.
7. Damaged caused by virus is NOT covered by our warranty.
8. Pope Computer Services will not be held responsible for incompatibility between upgrades/repairs and peripheral equipment.
9. If you return your computer to us under warranty and it is discovered to be working normally. At our discretion we reserve the right to make a charge to cover our time.
10. If you return your computer to us under warranty and it is discover that the fault is caused by a software issue. At our discretion we reserve the right to make a charge to cover our time.
11. If during the course of an upgrade / repair, it is necessary to reinstall your software or operating system, you may have to supply us with your software disks/serial numbers. Failure to do so may make it impossible for us to complete our work. We will NOT be held responsible if this occurs.
12 There is no facility for a loan computer whilst we repair yours.
13. If you are not satisfied with the repair/upgrade you must return the computer to us as soon as possible to allow us to examine the faulty item and determine if it Can be repaired under our warranty.
